※ Ces trois bols disent beaucoup d'une liberté de geste née du regard porté sur le Japon. Moglia tourne trois bols et entre "cru" et "cuir", lorsque la terre est encore molle, il leur assigne un contour en tranchant dans leur masse. Des pans apparaissent qui rythment le mouvement des pièces pour bientôt devenir l'espace de déploiement d'une couverte blanche, en jus, légèrement rosée sur l'un des bols, posé en un autre geste sans reprise possible. Tout y est immédiat, assumé, juste.

※ These three bowls speak volumes about a freedom of movement born from his gaze upon Japan. Moglia throws three bowls, and between "raw" and "leather-hard," while the clay is still soft, he defines their contours by slicing into the mass. Sections emerge, rhythmically marking the movement of the pieces, soon becoming the space for the unfolding of a white glaze, a thin wash, slightly pink on one of the bowls, applied in a single, decisive gesture. Everything is immediate, deliberate, and precise.
