※ Cet étonnant pot couvert est une sculpture. Le grès brun chaud laissé nu en partie haute dialogue avec la blancheur de prise du couvercle, elle en porcelaine.
Sur le pot en lui-même, trois gestes cohabitent harmonieusement, un large bandeau d'émail de cendre donne une autre profondeur à la terre, tandis qu'un aplat vertical appliqué au pinceau laisse apparaitre une bande texturée gris pâle sur laquelle une incision dessine un motif énigmatique, sobre, qui nous ramène au cœur de la terre.
Étonnant art que celui de la terre, difficile, et qui a maintes fois vu s’épanouir des gens capable de tels équilibres mais dont la trace n'est pas toujours facile à identifier :  Ce pot témoigne du geste assuré de Sylvie Beaumont Perron. Extrait : « 1991 : début d'un parcours céramique dans divers ateliers parisiens dont celui d'Annie Fourmanoir Gorius puis Sylvie s'installe à Ger en 2001. Elle explore la technique du Raku auprès de Brigitte Marionneau et la cuisson au bois avec Agnès Chapelet et Cécile Poisson. Elle découvre la céramique japonaise avec Rizu Takahashi et Shuntei Kato. Passionnée par la philosophie et les arts d'Asie Sylvie a appris la cérémonie du thé japonais (chanoyu) auprès de Maître Mashiko Wright.
Professeur de Tai Chi Chuan et de Qi Gong : Sylvie enseigne les arts martiaux internes. Formée au Tai Chi Chuan à l'institut du "Quimetao" et au Qi Gong au "Temps du corps" à Paris et en Chine.
Soucieuse de se perfectionner par la découverte d'autres Qi Gong, Sylvie a suivi les formations de Ziran Qi Gong avec Maître Liu Deming et de Wu Dang Gong Dao avec Maître Yuan Limin.»

※ This striking lidded pot is a sculpture. The warm brown stoneware, left exposed at the top, contrasts with the pristine white of the porcelain lid.
On the pot itself, three techniques coexist harmoniously: a broad band of ash glaze adds depth to the clay, while a vertical brushstroke reveals a textured, pale gray band upon which an incision traces an enigmatic, understated motif that draws us back to the heart of the earth. The art of working with clay is indeed remarkable, a difficult art form that has often seen the flourishing of artists capable of such balance as in this magnificient example by Sylvie Beaumont Perron identified thanks to Agnès Chapelet

Excerpt: "1991: the start of a ceramics journey in various Parisian studios, including that of Annie Fourmanoir Gorius; Sylvie later settled in Ger in 2001. She explored the Raku technique with Brigitte Marionneau and wood firing with Agnès Chapelet and Cécile Poisson. She discovered Japanese ceramics through Rizu Takahashi and Shuntei Kato. Passionate about Asian philosophy and arts, Sylvie studied the Japanese tea ceremony (chanoyu) under Master Mashiko Wright.
As a Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong instructor, Sylvie teaches internal martial arts. She trained in Tai Chi Chuan at the Quimetao Institute and in Qi Gong at Le Temps du Corps in Paris and in China.
Keen to further her skills by exploring other forms of Qi Gong, Sylvie completed training in Ziran Qi Gong with Master Liu Deming and Wu Dang Gong Dao with Master Yuan Limin."
